Welcome to the Central Ohio Sexual Addiction Recovery Center in Columbus OH. We recognize it can be very confusing and difficult to find help if you or someone you love is struggling with compulsive or addictive sexual behavior. WHO ARE WE?

What is COSARC? COSARC is a counseling center devoted to providing resources and quality counseling to sex addicts and their families. Our core belief is that there is hope for sex addicts and their families to live in recovery and serenity. We desire to resource people in Columbus Ohio and the surrounding areas by assisting them in several ways.

1. Helping people find answers to questions relating to whether someone is actually a sex addict or not.
2. Providing assistance to the addict or their family in deciding what will be next step toward recovery.
3. Providing specialized counseling services to addicts and their families based on the IITAP model developed by Patrick Carnes.
4. Increase understanding about the dynamics of the sexually addicted family and relationships where there are sexually addicted people.
5. Assist couples to rebuild relationships that have been damaged by sexually addictive behavior.
6. Connecting recovering people with helpful resources outside of our center such as recovery groups in the central Ohio area, inpatient treatment centers, sources of information, and experts in the field from across the country.
7. Speaking and advocating for sexual addiction recovery both in the central Ohio area as well as nationally.

We are very aware of how destructive and painful sexual addiction can be for family. We always have an eye on how to be most helpful in the long-term for helping families rebuild. This focus on rebuilding and helping families is a commitment to do what is best in the long run, not what is comfortable and convenient in the short run. It is a commitment to real change for families.
